Response time
We answer within two working days, usually sooner. Include your account email and, if it is about one session, the session ID shown under its title.
Reporting content or behaviour
Clubs are private and invite-only, but if something posted in a club — a clip, a comment or a message — is offensive or does not belong there, tell us and we will act on it. Email us with the club name and the session ID or a screenshot. We remove content that breaches our Terms and can suspend the account behind it.
Common questions
My analysis failed, or the score looks wrong
Film side-on, with the whole body in frame and reasonable light. If the score still looks wrong for a piece you know well, send us the session ID — a score that disagrees with the athlete is the single most useful thing you can report.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions bought in the iPhone app are managed by Apple: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Subscriptions bought on the web are cancelled from Settings → Billing on this site. Cancelling leaves you on the free plan at the end of the period you have paid for; your past analyses stay.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: the avatar on Home → Settings → Delete account. On the web: Settings → Account. Deletion removes your profile, your sessions and the video behind them. It cannot be undone.
Who can see my sessions?
Only you, unless you join a club. In a club, your coaches can see the sessions you record under it, and clips a coach adds to the club film room are visible to that club. Nothing is public unless you create a share link yourself.
Do I need a Concept2 PM5?
No. A phone and a clip are enough. Pairing a PM5 adds live splits, rate and heart rate alongside the video, and you can connect a Concept2 account to bring across pieces you have already rowed.
Which sports are supported?
Rowing is what MotionX is built around and where the analysis goes deepest. Golf, running and volleyball are supported too, with joint angles through the movement and side-by-side comparison against a reference clip.
